Yes! Some summer goals accomplished! It was a short trip-less than 24 hours- but I managed to get myself out of the awful city and onto the coast of Montauk! I waded in the ocean, ate sweet summer corn, drank Prosecco and even bought a straw fedora. Crabby city Kayte was magically transformed to happy beach bum Kayte. And it was awesome.
It's going to be 100 degrees in Philadelphia this weekend! What are you going to do to stay cool?

I'm excited to go visit my mom in CT next week. Not that much cooler than Philly but at least there are trees and a coastal breeze! I wish I had time to visit my aunt in NH this summer. It's so peaceful there!!
