Clearly I have some Squam recapping to do, but I'm just not ready for the words. Today, I'm inspired by these beautiful still life photos by Inês Nepomuceno. Taken with an anological camera, the images convey the leftovers of her meals, transforming what's usually thrown away into an important ritual, a moment in time. They look like paintings right?

I feel as though the shadow and negative space is a lot like how we isolate memories, like strands. Like how we isolate rituals and make them special. It's stark. It's about difference.
I love the quality of light.
