How are you doing with your Holiday shopping? Done, sorta done, not even started? I'm in the sorta done category this year. I'm trying to do a combo of handmade gifts and those bought from small businesses this year so it's key to be a little more prepared!
If you are still looking for some beautiful gifts, everything in Specks & Keepings, a gorgeously curated webshop, would be sure to make someone on your list very very happy.

I'm sorta done - which is kind of crazy! I still have to figure out what to do for my immediate family, but I spent all summer gardening and foraging fruits and vegetables and berries to make jams and pickles for holiday care packages. I also am trying my hand at making traditional fruitcakes this year (no artificially-coloured blobs of sugar here, I used dried fruits that I macerated in brandy for a week). They have to age/ripen for two months in a cool room, with weekly brandy feedings. I sure hope they turn out okay. And then I'll make jewelry for my girlfriends and sister-in-law and that just leaves the immediate fam! (whew!)
